Mother of God
Our Protectress
the paradigm of the entire created order
from all pre-eternity

We welcome all to this, our eschatological page – I was going to
call it our “apocalyptical” page, but that term is at the moment over-
loaded with negative connotations, whereas the End Times God
has foreordained for us, His very own People, and this from all pre-
eternity, can only be wonderful beyond belief!!! These times are,
moreover, so depicted in all the authentic literature of all religions,
everywhere in the entire realm of being, and at all times whatsoever!

Unfortunately, my Google search on “eschatologcal” indicates that
this term is almost as ill-starred as its cognate, but hopefully fewer
people have ever heard of it --- because, as those of us know, who
either were faithful to our study of Aristotle, or else have had the good
sense to have used our minds as God intended us to use them (it’s
fundamentally one and the same thing, since Aristotle’s teaching is
even called “common sense systematized”) - so, as we common
sense types know, the end is what determines whatever is ordered to it.

Without any end or purpose, all that could happen - if anything could
happen at all! – would just be some outrageous, formless SPLAT!

So we invite all our welcome visitors to browse our pages at your
leisure. While you surely may follow the order of your preference, I
suggest starting off with one on the Eucharist, the Food whereby God
incarnates Himself in us
– since precisely this Incarnation of God in
us is the end and purpose of the whole megillah way back to before the beginning.

Solzhenitsyn’s Oak and the Calf, 2010: this time around Putin is
the oak, Khordorkovsky the calf. Learn why even Pope Benedict
has seen fit to take a page from Russia’s currently jailed oligarch/
dissident, once Russia’s richest man – he was literally captured and
imprisoned because of the threat he posed to the Kremlin - Mikhail Khodorkovsky.

Nobody imprisoned me, Laura Jones, they just threw me out of their
universities – and all because I found a joke to be the best proof!

Yes, the times are changing, and with them our fortunes! Let me
introduce our brand new friends and compatriots in the Kingdom of Heaven:

The Peruvian theologian Father Gustavo
Gutiérrez, O.P.
(born 1928 - I was born 1931) known as the Father of
Liberation Theology which I believe holds the answer to the question:
Where is the Church of the future today?

In this belief, I am in very good company, as you can see from
the prescient forecast of the ultimately honored – although honor
came only after he was cruelly repressed and silenced for 10 years,
and this by his own Dominican brethren – Cardinal Yves Marie Joseph Congar, O.P., whose disciple, as I relate, I myself would have been, but for the twist of circumstance.

We are all Dominicans, the Cardinal, Fr. Gutiérrez, as also Herbert
and myself, both Dominican tertiaries.

Two recent news items, however, Economies in Latin America Race Ahead, and Police: Brazilian goalie watched slaying of former girlfriend document both the
success of liberation theology where its discipline is conscientiously
taught and applied – as also the depravity which continues
unabated where such sane and salutary discipline is absent.

We see that the newfound prosperity can by no means in and of
itself dispel the moral depravity which was generated and fed by
economic inequity and injustice resulting from self will and greed,
especially when these remain hallmarks of the Church and what
passes for “religious” society – cf. Mel Gibson, who was even
received in audience by Pope John Paull II. Our western society,
and, by and large the religion, Christian or other, (mal)practiced
within it, has by now been for generations radically secularized.

Compatriots in the Kingdom of Heaven, we have our work cut out for us!

And Pope Benedict has heard our pleas and given us a whole new "dicastery" no less!!!

In his homily during the vigil for the Solemnity of Sts. Peter and
Paul, the Pope announced the creation of a new Vatican dicastery.

He noted that the council would be "DEDICATED TO THE SPECIFIC
TASK OF PROMOTING A RENEWED EVANGELIZATION IN
COUNTRIES WHERE THE FIRST PROCLAMATION OF THE
FAITH ALREADY RESOUNDED, AND WHERE CHURCHES ARE
PRESENT OF ANCIENT FOUNDATION, BUT WHICH ARE GOING
THROUGH A PROGRESSIVE SECULARIZATION OF SOCIETY
AND A SORT OF 'ECLIPSE OF THE SENSE OF GOD,' WHICH
CONSTITUTES A CHALLENGE TO FIND THE APPROPRIATE
MEANS TO PROPOSE AGAIN THE PERENNIAL TRUTH OF THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST."
